Our nature and biodiversity related projects in Kossuth radio
On July 27, 2023, we gave an interview on Kossuth radio's "Explorer – about the environment" program regarding the Ground Squirrel Reserve and Visitor Center established in the area of the Solymár Auchan Commercial Center. Our company was represented by Dóra Diána Szemerédi, who, in addition to the Ürgerét project, also talked about Nhood Hungary's activities, People-Planet-Profit based corporate philosophy and environmentally friendly vision.
Dóra Diána Szemerédi, Head of CSR Manager at Nhood Hungary, recently gave an interview on Kossuth radio's "Explorer – about the environment" program. Our CSR leader talked to Dóra Novák Drucza about the Ground Squirrel Reserve and Visitor Center in Solymár, which was handed over last fall.
Our company created the 1,5-hectare Ground Squirrel Reserve (Ürgerét) - on a land which is owned by our client Ceetrus and also gives home to the local Auchan hypermarket - as part of a project lasting several years to protect the population of ground squirrels, which are considered a highly protected species throughout Europe.
The Ground Squirrel Reserve and Visitor Center in Solymár - a great example of corporate social responsibility and preservation of natural values – is open from March 15 to September 15 for nature-loving families, kindergartens or school groups, but it is also suitable as a venue for corporate events.
In the Kossuth Radio interview, in addition to the purpose and aspects of the establishment of Ürgerét, Nhood Hungary's value-enhancing activities, triple positive impact People-Planet-Profit based corporate philosophy and environmentally friendly vision were also discussed . The conversation mentions the Dunakeszi Turtle Nature Trail, the Maglód Palánta Biogarden project, the Miyawaki mini forest in the area of the Solymár Auchan Commercial Center and the related tree adoption campaign. All projects were created for our client, Ceetrus.
