Nhood Hungary team participates in Vivicittá Half Marathon again

The Nhood Hungary running team participated in the Vivicittá Half Marathon again, which this year was held on 22 and 23 April on Margaret Island. In addition, for the second time, we sponsored the most popular spring running event on behalf of the Auchan Korzó brand as well.

At Nhood, we believe that sport not only makes you healthier and fitter, but also happier. That's why not only did we participate as runners in the Vivicittá Half Marathon, but our marketing team, again organized a special sponsorship for the biggest spring leisure sports event on behalf of the Auchan Korzó brand. Those who visited the Margaret Island location had the opportunity to meet the Auchan Korzó brand in various ways. It appeared on the inflatable gate, at one of the refreshment stations, and people could also watch an Auchan Korzó commercial on the big display. We also gave away Auchan Korzó backpacks and congratulated the winners with Auchan Korzó gift vouchers worth 20,000 HUF each.

The running festival, which has its roots in Italy, brought together 18,000 local participants from 920 municipalities to experience the joy of running, but the prestigious sporting event is not only popular among Hungarians. A total of 1,300 foreign competitors from 83 countries were also present. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the weather also favored the sporting activities, with beautiful sunshine both on Saturday and Sunday.

Our company was represented again by nine of our employees: István Skodnitz, Csongor Sándor, Zsófia Marianna Kiss-Kozslik, Balázs Gábosy, Viktória Petrányi, Mercédesz Tóth, Gergely Paller, Dóra Diána Szemerédi and Gergely Fonay. Congratulations to all members of the team!
Not only the runners and hikers, but also their companions and family members could find something to do to their liking, as there were many colorful programs in the exhibition tents set up on Nagyrét.The key idea of this year's event was that true victory is overcoming our own limitations. Thus, the organizers sent the following message to everyone who completed the distances: You are heroes! The same message appeared in Péterfy Bori’s theme song titled “Persistence” and in the personalized video that the 7, 10 and 21 km runners received by e-mail after the finish line.

For Nhood, running together is not only a team-building activity, but is also connected to our corporate vision of caring for the well-being of people and the planet. We believe it is important to set an example not only in terms of environmental awareness, but also in the love of sport, regular exercise plays an important role in maintaining good health. This is why we’ve been supporting sporting events and running races for many years now with the Auchan Korzó brand. In addition, running with co-workers is a great experience, so we hope that more colleagues will join us next time!
