A drop of care: we participated in the charity cake bake organised by Effekteam!

Representing Auchan Korzó, our team participated in Effekteam's Christmas charity program on the 8th of December. The Linzer cakes baked at the event will make the holidays more beautiful for 90 families in need.
 
Baking cookies is an essential part of the Christmas season. Even better, if the activity not only provides relaxation and delicious desserts, but also serves a charitable cause. So when our partner, Effekteam invited our company, as the operator and representor of Auchan Korzó, to a charity Linzer cake bake, we happily accepted the invitation.

Since its foudation in 2006, Effekteam has been one of the most respected platforms for professionals committed to corporate responsibility, working to create value for communities through initiatives that create real social and environmental impact for responsible business operators in a sustainable way. Their activities include impact measurement, benchmarking and CSR strategy development for companies.
 
At the pre-Christmas program organised at the Hungarian Food Bank, members of the association and its partners were not only able to meet and discuss various topics, but also found out more about the activities of the Food Bank and learned practices to reduce the amount of food waste generated in everyday life.

During the fun-filled event, participants made more than a 1,000 jam Linzer cakes, which the Food Bank will use to make Christmas brighter for 90 families in need. The donations will be distributed through the Civilians for the County Association.

The Nhood Hungary team was happy to represent Auchan Korzó at the event, contributing to making the holidays of the families who received the gifts more beautiful.
