A modern, fresh, youthful shopping and leisure venue & community space
"The Budaörs Green Strip Mall is implemented in the framework of a mixed-use real estate development in a value-enhancing way with sufficient green space, restaurants, and a community space, keeping Nhood's People-Planet-Profit corporate philosophy in mind, which we are very proud of. We hope that the project can also serve as an example in the domestic market for our vision of sustainability."

The project
We are working on the realization of a multi-building, mixed-use commercial property development on the last vacant plot of the Auchan retail park in Budaörs, part of the Ceetrus portfolio. The Budaörs Auchan Commercial Center has always been a popular destination for shoppers and leisure enthusiasts, as it gives home to several well-known big brands such as Auchan, Auchan Korzó, Ikea, Decathlon, Burger King and Bellozzo.
Joining this portfolio is the new brand Harvey Norman, which can also be an attractive target for customers with its range of quality furniture, home furnishings and household electronics. The Australian chain's flagship store and office in Hungary will be located in the larger building of the planned development, while the smaller building will house additional shops and catering units. In addition to cycling infrastructure, the site will be accessible via surface and underground car parks.
-
We wanted it to be nature- and environmentally friendly, therefore, sustainability elements were also included in the plans: solar panels, significant green space on the building and in the parking lots that fits the environment, and the conscious avoidance of fossil energy carriers. Sustainable operation is achieved by minimizing energy consumption and implementing a carbon neutrality strategy for the entire life of the building, as part of which harmful emissions are compensated with forest planting (carbon offset).
We wanted it to have a modern, fresh and youthful feel, so the investment will bring new shops, community spaces and new services that were previously not available nearby.
We wanted it to be community-building and experiential, with tastefully landscaped green spaces, playgrounds, recreation parks, cafés and restaurants in the area between the buildings, offering meaningful meeting and recreation opportunities for all generations.
