A modern shopping center for all generations

   

The project

The renovation was motivated by the fact that the location no longer fully met modern market requirements. The primary objective of the renovation was to increase customer satisfaction and turnover. We wanted the new shopping center to be an esthetically pleasing and vibrant meeting place for all ages.

We wanted it to be modern and sustainable on the long run, so we have completely modernized the corridors, toilets and food court area. In addition to replacing flooring and ceiling tiles, lighting has been complemented with esthetic, industrial, suspended lamps, and windows, entrances and emergency exits have been redesigned to enhance the role of natural light. The mechanical and plumbing systems have also been renovated to modern, energy-efficient standards, and the store has been made accessible by public transport.


We wanted it to be high-tech but green, so we installed new benches with electric outlets for charging mobile phones in the mall area, and digital totems for projecting advertisement at the entrances.  To increase green space, esthetic plant holders have been placed next to the benches.

We wanted it to be vibrant and lively, so the interior was designed to create an industrial loft-like yet welcoming atmosphere, with a children's play area in the middle of the food court. It was an important consideration when choosing tables and chairs to create a comfortable, homely dining area where customers would enjoy spending time. An area for a mobile stage equipped with a special sound system has also been designated to serve as a venue for events, and the food court has been extended with an 82 m2 shaded terrace seating 60 people. At the end, we have created a community space where everyone can have a great time.
